We are here. We have been here for a week. I already like it! People are very friendly. The food is good, and there is a lot of wine - they are wine drinkers (wouldn't have pegged them for wine drinkers!). The kids started school today. I will try to change my weather column sometime soon. Although, you have to realize that we are in temporary housing, I am visiting houses and trying to adapt to the humidity! Whooo! It''s hot here! Bring you up to date soon.

Bonjour!
I'm looking for information about Greensboro for someone from France moving there soon: mentality, does and don'ts, what to do, where to live.
I am based in France in Paris.
Could we discuss on Skype some time?
merci beaucoup d'avance!

Good luck. I am another Canadian living in the "South" Virginia is technically the south but it does not feel that way especially when our neighbours are also Canadian. Anyway it's still an adjustment from Northern Alberta. I hope you will come and check out my blog. http://andweareoffto.blogspot.com/

Jusqu'a maintenant, j'aime Greensboro. Je parle pour moi - parce que mon mari trouve ca un peu 'ghost town'. J'aime la temperature! Expat
